Finishing the DIY Gabion Wall 🛠🏢🏡

So I've ironed out all of the kinks finishing the first gabion basket, and now I'm ready to power through the remaining two baskets to complete my gabion wall.

If you remember from an earlier video, I created this perfectly level channel to sit my gabion baskets. Unfortunately, when I placed the final two, I didn't like how the end was sticking out above the ground. So I pulled up everything and re-dug the channel to have a stepped-down effect for each basket. This was a lot of work to retrofit this step-down, so I wouldn't recommend doing it this way. The worst part was that my original design was to have a stepped-down wall because of the arc of the ground, and I bailed because I didn't have the baskets built yet. Lesson learned, dig the channel after making the baskets.

Next, it's back to smashing up pavers and filling up baskets. This is where it sits today. It just needs a bit more filling and maybe a topper using some leftover cedar. We'll see!
